Exhibiting
The Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, as the first and parent higher education institution for art education in Croatia with a rich tradition since its establishment in 1907, in addition to teaching , also nurtures the rich exhibition activity of its students and alumni. In this way, it also co-creates the contemporary Croatian art scene, through the exhibition of the works of young artists in a more direct way that is not exclusively their working environment. The Academy actively participates in the creation of the artistic program of the City of Zagreb and the Republic of Croatia through the rich annual exhibition program of the Šira Gallery and Gallery 112, and organizes or co-organizes significant exhibition events for students, teachers, professionals and the general public, at the national and international level. From the exhibition projects, we highlight: Youth Salon, Biennial of Painting, ALU Met, Cash and Carry , ALU Perspektiva, Artupunktura, Transform and others, and from cultural events Night of Museums, Ilica Qart, Pay and Carry and Birthday of Art.
The exhibition activities of the Academy are planned and implemented by the management of the Academy in cooperation with the Council for Exhibition Activities of the Academy of Fine Arts.
