What kind of students do we need?

The study of Painting is looking for and needs creative, motivated, patient, but also dynamic people! Curious people! People committed to solving art and artistic challenges without fear. People dedicated to exploring their own painting and drawing horizons, people with initiative, able to make decisions independently and at the same time adopt and discover new knowledge, techniques and skills.

Communicative people! People who think about their own work, but also communicate with colleagues, with the environment and, of course, with mentors!

The graduate study brings and opens new, more dynamic dimensions and horizons of artistic work and research, leaning on previously acquired skills and knowledge.

We still work with our eyes and hands, with our brains, but in a much wider and more open spectrum of acquiring new experiences and knowledge, all in the sense of maximizing the development of our own creative energy and potential!

We need people without fear of a new and changing experience!

What to do after studying?

After graduation at our graduate study, students are offered a wide range of opportunities for future professional activity: as independent artists on the contemporary art scene in Croatia and abroad through solo and group exhibitions and other public and social artistic and cultural engagements. Also, they can work and participate in parallel, get a job and be active, and build a career in the fields of culture, art, education and the creation of various art projects, independently or through institutions and art associations. They can collaborate with all relevant Croatian and international cultural institutions.

Completion of the study enables them to start building and developing their own artistic career on their own, and also enables them to enroll in the next, highest academic educational level: the doctoral study of painting at our academy, which acquires the highest competencies in the artistic field of painting.
