Project objectives
The main goal of the project is to strengthen the capacities of teachers through interdisciplinary artistic research that connects animated film, video games and virtual reality, with the aim of developing new innovative forms of interactive art and strengthening digital, creative and narrative competencies.
The research is aimed at reaching concrete results and insights that would indicate which production processes in this area are relevant for further dissemination.
This is achieved by exploring the possibilities of virtual production, i.e. the use of virtual technologies in (such as VR) in the creation of artistic content of a wide range; from spatial installations, through animated film to video games, i.e. exploring the synergy of different media in the creation of new art forms.
The key element is additional teacher education, which takes place by visiting and participating in events dealing with these areas and cooperation with invited lecturers and external associates who can offer expertise in these areas, which is lacking at the home institution.
The project aims to create a platform for the development of research into new possibilities – the transfer of knowledge and experience as a possibility of adapting new, yet unknown
possibilities of the media, and to create cooperation with the University Abroad, which opens up a space for the exchange of experiences and knowledge.
