Candidates who have completed a university undergraduate study of Sculpture or a related university undergraduate study in Croatia or abroad, in accordance with the terms of the competition, have the right to apply. The application must be accompanied by a folder of works with documentation of previous artistic work and a written explanation in which the candidate presents his/her practice, interests, procedures and direction of further development.
The classification procedure includes an overview of the work folder, a presentation of previous work and an interview with candidates. The interview assesses motivation, ability to articulate ideas, understanding of one's own artistic practice and readiness to work on graduate studies.
What kind of students are we looking for?
The study is intended for motivated candidates who want to develop independent artistic practice, explore space, material, form, object, installation and contemporary artistic approaches. Candidates can come from the fields of sculpture, painting, graphics, design, architecture, scenography, restoration, applied arts and other related areas of visual culture.
It is important that they show interest in spatial thinking, working in material, interdisciplinary approaches and connecting traditional sculptural techniques with new technologies. Motivation for independent work, readiness for research and experimentation, openness to mentoring dialogue and the desire for further development of one's own authorial expression are especially appreciated.

What to do after studying?
After completing the graduate study, students are trained for independent artistic practice and the realization of original projects in the field of contemporary visual art. Many former students are active on the art scene and participate in exhibitions, residencies, competitions, public projects and other programs that enable professional development and public visibility.
The acquired knowledge opens up opportunities to work in public space, design of sculptural and spatial solutions, public sculpture, memorial and social practices, making awards, medals and plaques, digital 3D design, modeling, restoration, scenography, making props and multimedia and ambient projects.
Graduates can also work in the field of culture, education and organization of art programs, for example in galleries, institutions, independent organizations, workshops and contemporary art projects.
