Counseling for students
Academic support at the Academy of Fine Arts
The Academy of Fine Arts of the University of Zagreb provides students with the possibility of academic support with the aim of advancing and successful studies on Mondays and Wednesdays from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Office for Student Aid and Support, Ilica 85.
Through academic support, students receive assistance in identifying, setting up and solving problems through individual or group counseling conversations.
Students can seek help in cases of:
- learning difficulties,
- In the case of academic writing,
- fears of failure when taking exams, public presentations, communication difficulties,
- dissatisfaction with the studio's choice.
- decisions on the suspension of student obligations,
- relationships with colleagues, peers or professors,
- problematic psycho-social, health and stressful situations,
- economic uncertainty during studies, etc.
ALU Student Support Coordinator
At the request of the University of Zagreb, Romana Đuričić, Master of Social Work, was appointed coordinator at the Academy of Fine Arts. The coordinator is a contact person who can provide the necessary information about the activities and needs of students in the constituent part and is involved in possible activities and support to students within the following areas:
- help with all questions and difficulties during or at the end of your studies
- Psychological counseling for students
- development of academic skills
- career development and management
