The library follows the content of the curricula and provides insight into the history of fine arts all the way to contemporary events, as well as other scientific and theoretical areas related to fine arts and artistic creation in general.

Accommodation
The library is located in the basement of the Slava Raškaj building, Ilica 83.
Users
All students and employees of the Academy have the right to borrow books in the ALU Library. External users can use library materials in the reading room. Borrowing is possible in justified situations with the approval of the library manager, whereby the external user needs to fill out a form by which they undertake to keep and return the materials.
Enrollment and loan
Enrollment in the Library is free of charge, and user data is protected. As a rule, a maximum of 3 books can be borrowed, with a loan period of one month. Enrollment is repeated for each ak. year.
Return of books and debit certificates
At the end of the academic year. It is mandatory to return all borrowed books. Students who do not return the books remain recorded in the system and cannot enroll in the next year.
When submitting their final and graduate theses, all students must receive a confirmation that they have no debts to the Library. Students are kindly asked to request confirmation via e-mail at least one day before they need it , and to state the purpose of its issuance and their information.
Newsletter
The newsletter provides information about the work of the Library, links to interesting and useful online resources or electronic materials, reading recommendations, notifications about new arrivals, etc. The newsletter is sent to the addresses of teachers and employees of the Academy and all those who are interested.
