Who do we work with?

The Department of Animated Film actively cooperates with relevant institutions, festivals and professional organizations in the field of animation and audiovisual activities, which enables students to have direct contact with the professional environment.

Among the key partners are the World Festival of Animated Film Animafest Zagreb, Zagreb Film, the Croatian Audiovisual Centre (HAVC) and ASIFA Croatia. Collaborations are realized through teaching, production, film distribution and participation in festivals.

Student works are regularly screened at national and international festivals, including Annecy International Animation Film Festival, Ottawa International Animation Festival, Animateka Ljubljana, Anifilm Liberec in the Czech Republic and Fest Anča, Žilina in Slovakia, which makes students visible on the international scene during their studies.

Through workshops and guest appearances, the Department also collaborates with numerous domestic and foreign artists, directors, curators and producers. Such an exchange of knowledge and experience allows students to gain insight into various authorial and production practices and contributes to their professional and artistic development.
