The artistic research project Q'ART Community Art – Artistic Practices in Social and Natural Processes brings together a team of top art researchers and practitioners who, through their own thematic modules and cooperative points, explore the regenerative potentials of art in contemporary crisis contexts – social, social, environmental, educational and emotional. Starting from the long-term activities of the Ilica Q'ART project, as well as the long-standing social practices of researchers, the project builds a transdisciplinary framework of artistic research based on inclusion, solidarity, participation, care, empathy, community activation, connection with natural processes and ecosystems.
The project explores how art can become an active form of social and environmental care and change within urban, natural and diverse communities, using the platform Project Ilica: Q'ART as a continuous laboratory of real processes and impacts on social processes. Through an interdisciplinary approach, the project focuses on the role of art and its elements as an emotional and perceptual medium that influences behavior, psychophysical state and collective dynamics. Based on many years of multidisciplinary art practices and the experience of the research team, the focus of the research is on the question and challenges: to what extent and through what practices can art regenerate the individual, space and society, the coexistence of all life species, environmental and climate awareness, solidarity and care, and with gestures and real influence initiate social processes and change, deconstruct various types of domination?
