Motivational interviews

The Motivational Interviews workshop is traditionally organized every academic year before the final exhibition. The aim is to provide support to students in the final phase of university undergraduate studies and to prepare for enrollment in the university graduate study at the Academy of Fine Arts of the University of Zagreb. The meetings are usually held during April and May and are intended for all final year students from all departments who will acquire the academic title of bachelor in this academic year.

In addition to basic administrative information on the deadlines, conditions and necessary documentation for the completion of studies and enrollment in graduate studies, participants are also provided with numerous useful guidelines and advice related to student status and rights, the preparation of a final thesis and CV, the possibility of accommodation in a student dormitory, the exercise of the right to scholarships, payment of tuition fees, as well as the use of available information through the ALU website (e.g. repository, regulations, documents, information package), and the University website, where vacancies and tables of enrollment places are published.

  • How and where to find important information – how to access relevant information through the official website of the Academy of Fine Arts (ALU), as well as which people and offices to contact; e.g. library, student office, help and support, mentors, older peers.
  • Location of documents on the website – where official forms and regulations related to the completion of undergraduate studies and enrollment in graduate studies are located.
  • Which documents are required for the completion of the undergraduate study and which are required for enrolment in the graduate study programme – documentation requirements for both levels of study.
  • Method of submission of the final paper (written part) – the procedure of submission, including the format, deadlines and method of delivery.
  • What needs to be brought to the student office – mandatory documents that must be submitted in person.
  • Where to find the study completion guide – a place on the website where to download or view the guide with all relevant instructions and deadlines.
