The Department of Painting has several specially equipped spaces, drawing rooms and painting rooms in which our specific classes take place and which are adapted and designed for the specific study programs that are performed. The Department of Painting, in addition to its basic program, also services the obligatory course Nude Drawing, intended for all departments of the Academy of Fine Arts, and in this sense it also has the main drawing room – the nude hall, which is in a way the "main square", the core of meetings of our students who will work there and meet at some point and stage of their studies.

The Painting Department also often organizes various drawing and painting workshops, workshops, urban mural interventions and actions, often in collaboration with other departments, related institutions and academies, and partners. Thus, the development of our painting experiences moves into public and urban space, expanding our creative horizons and competencies.
