Who do we work with?

The Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, and especially the Department of Painting, cultivate, maintain and develop many institutional and partner collaborations, field classes, workshops, exhibitions and meetings, both domestically and internationally. In the first place, there is cooperation with Croatian art academies, such as the Academy of Music and the Academy of Dramatic Art of the University of Zagreb and other Croatian academies, as well as other cultural and gallery institutions, especially HDLU. There is also an increasingly extensive and high-quality cooperation with international, European and global university partners through the Erasmus and Erasmus + and CEEPUS programs.

Thanks to a developed network of cooperation with numerous renowned museum and gallery institutions and public and private partners, as well as participation in dynamic project programs, our students will have the opportunity to develop not only their artistic, but also organizational, presentation and communication skills. They will meet experts from different artistic fields, as well as other disciplines, and during lectures, in collaboration and communication with artists, curators, art historians, critics, other experts and colleagues, they will expand their horizons and gain valuable experience as part of their preparations for their future professional careers.
