What does the entrance exam look like?

The procedure for verifying special knowledge, skills and abilities for enrolment in the Sculpture study programme consists of an application part, a written examination, practical tasks and interviews with applicants. All deadlines, documents and technical information are published on the enrolment page. 

To access the screening process, it is necessary to submit a CV and a letter of motivation. In them, applicants present their education, interests, previous experiences, skills, motivation for study and expectations from the program. 

The entrance exam includes a written examination of general and visual arts, practical tasks and an interview. The practical part can include modeling portraits in clay, drawing a nude, drawing a spatial composition and free form on a given topic. The interview is an opportunity for applicants to present their interests, way of thinking, previous work and motivation for study.

What kind of students are we looking for?

We are looking for curious, motivated and creative candidates who show interest in sculpture, space, materials, design and contemporary art. The study is intended for people who like to work with their hands, draw, model, build, explore objects, installations, public space, scenography, modeling, 3D design, digital technologies or other forms of visual and spatial thinking. 

It is important to us to be willing to work, research, experiment and develop our own ideas. Just like existing technical skills, we value curiosity, motivation, openness to learning and the ability to reflect on artistic work. 

Candidates from artistic, professional and high school programs are welcome, as well as all those who show a serious interest in sculpture, space and contemporary visual arts.

What to do after studying?

After completing the undergraduate study, students master basic sculptural skills and working procedures in various materials. They develop the ability to think spatially, shape volumes, work with objects, installations, public spaces and digital tools. 

The acquired knowledge enables the development of independent artistic practice, but also work in the wider field of creative industries and culture. Graduates can deal with public sculpture, artistic interventions in space, modeling, scenography, making props, digital 3D design, restoration, multimedia spatial solutions, education, organization of art programs and related activities. 

Students who want to continue their education can take the entrance exam for the university graduate study of Sculpture or continue their studies at related graduate programs in Croatia and abroad.
