prof. Tonči Žarnić

Born in 1956 in Tivat. In 1981 he graduated from the Faculty of Architecture, University of Zagreb. Until 2023, he was a teacher at the Faculty of Architecture, University of Zagreb. In 2024, he was elected to the honorary title of professor emeritus of Universitatis Zagrabiensis. He is the winner of the University of Zagreb Ars summa Universitatis award, 2021. The area in which she works is architecture, a branch of architectural design (artistic part). Awarded at architectural competitions, the Youth Salon in 1987, the Zagreb Salon in 1994 - the award for the project and the Grand Prix (with Veljko Oluić) and the Zagreb Salon in 2006 - II prize (with Veljko Oluić). Winner of the annual awards "Vladimir Nazor" and "Viktor Kovačić" for 1996 (with Hildegard Auf-Franić) and the annual award "Viktor Kovačić" for 2004 (with Veljko Oluić).
