She was born in Zagreb in 1964. She graduated in painting in 1988 from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb under Prof. Đuro Seder. In 1999, she completed her postgraduate studies in art restoration and conservation at the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana (mentor: Prof. Franc Kokalj). Since 1988, she has been continuously working in the conservation and restoration profession, first as an independent artist, and since 1999 at the Department of Conservation and Restoration of Works of Art at the Academy of Fine Arts (since 2024 she has been a full professor in a permanent position). According to the Ordinance of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Croatia on professional titles in conservation and restoration activities, in 2007 she acquired the title of senior conservator-restorer for easel paintings and polychrome wooden sculpture, and since 2016 she has been a conservator-restorer advisor for easel paintings and polychrome wooden sculpture. She is the mentor of about 40 graduate theses in the field of conservation and restoration of easel paintings. She participated in the organization of domestic and international conferences at OKIRU/ALU Zagreb. She has led several professional domestic and international workshops. She is the author of lectures and posters at national and international conferences and seminars. She is the author and co-author of several professional texts in journals and proceedings, and a reviewer of renowned professional journals. She is the editor-in-chief of two art monographs on the work of OKIRU/ALU (2008 and 2019). She translated the manual "Solvents and Solubility in Conservation and Restoration Issues" by Giorgio Torraca, 2010, Zagreb, (publisher K-R Center, co-publisher Croatian Conservation Society). She is the head of numerous contracted programs at the Ministry of Culture and Media of the Republic of Croatia. She is the leader and associate of scientific and artistic research projects at the University of Zagreb. She is on the List of Mentors and Examiners in the process of taking professional exams for obtaining basic professional titles at the Ministry of Culture and Media. She is a member of professional associations (since 1989 a member of the Croatian Association of Artists of Decorative Arts, since 1995 a member of the Croatian Conservation Society (HRD), since 2010 a member of IIC (International Institute for Conservation) - Croatian Group) She has exhibited independently and is a participant in several group and juried exhibitions. She is the winner of the Ars summa Universitatis award in the field of fine arts for the academic year 2020/2021. She is the author of four teaching scripts in the field of conservation and restoration of easel paintings, which can be found on the website of the Academy of Fine Arts.
