Predrag Todorović was born in 1966 in Drvar. In 1990 he graduated in Fine Arts, elective course Painting, at the Faculty of Education in Rijeka. He has been a long-time independent visual artist in the Croatian Association of Freelance Artists, with several interruptions in his status due to employment. From 2000 to 2006, he worked as a professor at the School of Applied Arts in Rijeka. He volunteered as the president of HDLU Rijeka in 2003/04. As a Senior Art Associate, he taught painting at the Academy of Applied Arts in Rijeka in 2009/10. Since 2021, he has worked as an external associate at the Department of Teaching at the Academy of Fine Arts, teaching the course Painting 1 and 2, at the graduate university study. At the same study, since 2023, as an external associate, he has been teaching as an assistant professor (course: Painting 2/DN and Writing a graduate thesis). So far, he has exhibited at more than 50 solo exhibitions and at numerous group, juried and selected exhibitions in Croatia and abroad.

Research interests are focused on encouraging the research of artistic problems within the personal artistic text. By combining the preference for certain motifs with the specifics of personal handwriting and the selection of artistic materials, techniques and procedures - the student gradually becomes authentic, aware of his broader theme. The research is not only related to the technical aspects, but also to the cleansing of the personal artistic text from the superfluous, whereby students not only develop skills, but also become able to communicate clearly and precisely, without unnecessary effects.

The course encourages independent work, research and development of personal art practice. The focus is on experimentation and analysis, understanding and development of personal art language. Critical thinking skills, visual communication and self-reflection are developed. The goal is for the final exhibition to be a reflection not only of technical abilities, but also of deeper personal reflection on the topic and the art process.
