Marko Zeman

Marko Zeman, born on 21.10.1975 in Zagreb, where I finished elementary school and X Gymnasium.

I enrolled at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb in 2004, and studied painting in the class of Zlatko Keser. I graduated in 2010 I won the purchase award of the Croatian Postal Bank in 2009.

To date, I have exhibited at nine solo and numerous group exhibitions.

I base my artistic and exhibition practice on paintings, but the branch of artistic expression that I have been continuously nurturing and researching since the beginning of the exhibition is drawing.

In addition to painting, I was also engaged in graphics and sculpture.

I am continuously engaged in poster design, and I also exhibited my six-year production in this field in 2020.

I am the winner of the 7. Biennial of Painting. In 2023 For the last ten years, I have been continuously engaged in art and pedagogical work.

In 2015/2016, I work as an expert associate at the Faculty of Graphic Arts in Zagreb, Department of Graphic Design and Pictorial Information. I perform

I find a field of interest in artistic practice in painting, drawing, graphics, and design and poster making. With each new exhibition, I try to add a new element to my own artistic expression, to enrich it with a fresh art problem for which in the previous exhibition, i.e. in the earlier

with my works, I had no solution.

The elective courses that I teach were introduced in order to increase the number of hours of drawing and painting for students who are not from the Department of Painting, and the purpose and goal of the course is to determine and deepen knowledge about the basics of artistic expression: drawing and painting by observation.

The final results of the course are a classic tone drawing or painting.
