Research interests

In her artistic work, she pays special attention to the embodied experience of a work of art. Her work is characterized by a shift away from the question of formal design of an object towards the design of appropriate methods for communication with visitors, which she tries to include actively, i.e. interactively, in her works. She designs and shapes sculptural installations with which she carefully builds a tactile and kinesthetic experience in visitors, and explores the themes of embodied experience and the functioning of the body as a cognitive apparatus through focus groups at her exhibitions.

Teaching field

The course Introduction to the Psychology of Art deals with topics related to understanding the process of creating and experiencing art (motivation, creative process, perception, artistic experience). The course is based on the collaboration of psychologist Iva Šverko and visual artist Marina Bauer, who approach these topics each with their own knowledge and experience, encouraging students to think and discuss.
