She was born in Zagreb in 1963. She graduated in painting from the Academy of Fine Arts, in the class of Professor Ferdinand Kulmer, in 1987. She completed her specialization at the Corso Superiore di Arte Visiva organized by the Fondazione Antonio Ratti, under the direction of Joseph Kosuth, in Como in 1995. Since 1988, she has exhibited at numerous solo and group exhibitions, curatorial projects and festivals in Croatia and abroad, of a competitive and invitational nature. She has won several important awards and study stays abroad in Graz, Cardiff, New York, Washington D.C., R. Czech Republic, South Korea in Busan, and others. Painter, multimedia artist, author of art installations, video works, urban interventions. Her works are in the collections of museums and galleries.

From 2010 until today, she has been employed at the Academy of Fine Arts at the Department of Painting as a mentor, she holds the title of full professor and is a member of the Postgraduate Study Council. She obtained her doctorate based on artistic achievement in 2023 at the Academy of Fine Arts with a dissertation confirming her research work in the artistic field of painting.

She lives and works in Zagreb as a professor of art. as a mentor of the painting class at the Department of Painting of the Academy of Fine Arts.

Initially, he performs with minimalist and geometric themes, taking into account spatial givens and relativizing painting perspectives, expressing himself in various materials in addition to the painting medium (from 1988 to 1998), and gradually introduces video screens, photographs and elements of drawing in spatial installations through which he conceptually decomposes the image (0d 1998 to the present). He thematizes artistic research through the media examination of the mental and physical illusion of space to the psychological and emotional perceptions of human nature. Gradually, through a paradigm shift, he deals with the position of the individual in personal and social relationships, with an emphasis on exploring possibilities in the expanded medium of painting.

Her long-term work is based on an individual approach and implementation of the program through the development of students' personalities in the medium of painting with the possibility of research in related and combined media. Through various tasks, conversations and knowledge transfer, she insists on the media and intellectual development of students in favor of their personal authorial independence.
