The Archives of the Academy of Fine Arts, as a special public archive of interest for the Republic of Croatia (a group of holders of archival and registry material of the first category), serves as an important place for the study of materials related to fine arts and scientific research, primarily for internal needs, but also for external users, with the protection of data privacy and acting within legal regulations. Activities performed in the Archives of the Academy of Fine Arts: professional arranging, listing and processing of material created by the work of the Academy ensuring material and physical protection of materials keeping records of archival records in accordance with applicable legal acts Keeping a hemerotheque about the work of the Academy, its teachers and students, projects, exhibitions and publications of the institution Conversion of material into digital form work with clients – publishing materials for use primarily for internal needs, and external users (institutions and private individuals upon approved request) scientific processing of valuable material of the Archives of the Academy of Fine Arts for publication in professional and scientific periodicals, and active presentation of the Academy at conferences in the field of heritage The Archives of the Academy of Fine Arts is a special university archive, and its material represents one of the most important sources for the history of fine arts of the 20th and 21st centuries in Croatia.
