In her works, Ana Hušman analyzes the structure and texture of film elements through various forms of film, installation, book, image recording, sound, text. She is a co-founder of the RESTART association, where she organized and led a film education program for adults and children for many years. She has received several national and international awards for her work. Her works have been shown at exhibitions and festivals around the world: 9th Gwangju Biennale, October Salon, Belgrade, Ludwig Museum of Contemporary Arts, Budapest, Stuttgarter Filmwinter; International Film Festival Rotterdam, 25 fps, Zagreb; DOK, Leipzig... She has participated in various art residency programs frei_raum MQ 21, Museumquartier, Vienna, Akademie Schloss Solitude, Stuttgart, art residency program XXVIe Ateliers Internationauxat Frac Pays de la Loire, Nantes. In 2020, she launched a publishing project in which she currently collaborates with Ivana Meštrov, Marko Tadić, Nikola Bojić and Ana Labudović. We took the name Library 0 General from group 0 of the UDC classification system, which includes general human knowledge. The library is designed as a heterogeneous basis for research, exchange of ideas and dialogue, and inspired by the topics opened by the Workbook: Pustijerna – from the right to the city and the possibility of critical analysis of space, dominant spatial policies, the possibility of infiltration and resistance to the vitality of the margin and the periphery, excess, the study of ecology, materiality, the environment through feminist and queer theories, the other or the other.

She experiments with the possibilities of animation, documentary and fiction elements in film, voice and articulation. Within work processes, she is interested in questioning and reversing the position of the amateur and professional subject of performativity, the medium itself and the structures that dictate and produce patterns of behavior.

The courses she teaches are focused on film practices and thinking about moving images. Designed as a series of viewing, thinking and conversations, grouped around current social topics. The tasks guide students step by step, helping them to develop their own work methodologies, cooperation models, articulation of needs and methods, and critical skills.
