The exhibition at the Šira Gallery entitled Winners of the Rector's Award / Academy of Fine Arts of the University of Zagreb / Projects of Cooperation with the Constituents of the University of Zagreb will present the winners of the Rector's Award for the academic year 2018/2019, the works of students of the Academy of Fine Arts, from individual to complex cooperation projects realized with students and mentors of the Academy of Music, the Academy of Dramatic Art, the Faculty of Textile Technology, the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing.

MORE ABOUT THE EXHIBITION

During the opening of the exhibition, students will perform a part of the musical comedy #Priležnici, realized as an independent student project of four components of the University of Zagreb. The students will present their joint cultural and artistic cooperation on the creation of the theater play Spooky Sonata with a presentation accompanied by projected photo documentation that accompanied the process of creative creation, but also with a short staging of a part of the play. The work on the project Short Circuit – MI Machine, in addition to the presentation of visual solutions, will also be presented by the students with a presentation, but from all three angles of this interdisciplinary collaboration – the artistic part of the project, the part related to technology, but also the history of art. Visual solutions for Gustav Mahler's opera performance From the Miraculous Boy's Horn will also be presented, and the awarded research work in the category for individual scientific and artistic work in the interdisciplinary field of art will be presented by a student of the Department of Conservation and Restoration of Works of Art.
