Performance of Dejan Gotić's performance entitled "Getting to Know 2 / Life Wisdom".

A series of performances under the common title "Getting to Know" will be presented to the audience during 2019, while the performance presented at the Šira Gallery is the second in a series of different performative exhibitions in this series.

A WORD FROM THE AUTHOR

On the tenth anniversary of the death of the world-famous doctor Erik H. Svensson (1912. Eksjö – 2009. Stockholm), credited with the revolutionary development and progress of artistic expression of the 20th century, the Zagreb audience will have the opportunity to get acquainted in detail with the work and theoretical concepts that this brilliant mind gave birth to during his prolific theoretical work, all through a presentation and discussion prepared especially for this occasion, as an homage to the person with whom I spent most of my life and professional creativity and with whom I was steadfastly and devotedly until her last moments. When this exceptional doctor of art theory, and a dedicated follower of artistic tendencies, created the theory of holistic interconnection in art production in 1937, he not only improved the creativity and expression of generations of artists who marked the 20th century, but paved the way for life renewal and a new meaning for countless ordinary people, even those not connected with the sublime world of art as such. This will be an opportunity to jointly build new selves, raised above the dust of meaninglessness and aimlessness with which this world is trying to draw us into its lifeless mold. BIOGRAPHY OF THE AUTHOR

Dejan Gotić was born in 1987 in Zagreb. After graduating from the Department of Graphic Design at the School of Applied Arts and Design in Zagreb, he enrolled at the Academy of Fine Arts of the University of Zagreb, where he graduated in 2013 from the Department of Animated Film and New Media. In addition to working in the form of films, and leading numerous workshops at the Academy of Fine Arts of the University of Zagreb and other educational institutions, he has recently been engaged in gallery exhibitions.
