Decolonial Pilgrimage – international group exhibition at Gallery 112
How does art open up space for the meeting of different cultures, experiences and perspectives? The answers to these questions are provided by the international group exhibition Decolonial Pilgrimage, which opens on Tuesday, October 20, 2026 at 7 pm in Gallery 112. The curator of the exhibition is Josip Zanki.
After its presentation at the Noyes Museum in Hammonton, USA, where it was on display from October 8, 2025 to January 9, 2026, the exhibition arrives at Gallery 112, bringing together artists from the United States, Chile, Mexico, Colombia and Croatia.
American artists Brad Downey, Phoebe Farris, Tom McCloskey, Susanne Reese Horvitz, Robert Roesch and Michael Cagno, Chilean artist María Inés Galecio, Mexican artist Leonardo Martínez and Colombian artist Esneider Gamboa participate with their works. The Croatian art scene is represented by professors of the Academy of Fine Arts Tomislav Buntak, Ivan Fijolić, Maja Rožman and Josip Zanki, as well as student Laura Stojkoski.
Bringing together different artistic voices and experiences, Decolonial Pilgrimage invites reflection on cultural encounters, diversity, and the ways in which art can open up new perspectives on the world.
We invite you to the opening of the exhibition!
