Winners of the Rector's Award for the academic year 2025/2026 announced

The Rector of the University of Zagreb, Prof. Dr. Sc. Stjepan Lakušić, based on the proposal of the Rector's Award Committee, awarded a total of 123 student works in five categories.

77 works in category a), 23 works in category b), one work in category d), five works in category e) and 17 works in category f) were awarded.

The Rector's Award is awarded for the best student scientific and artistic works, special competitive successes of individuals or teams, and socially useful work in the academic and wider community.

The list of winners and awarded works for the academic year 2025/2026 is available on the website of the University of Zagreb.

Rector's Award Ceremony

The Rector's Award ceremony will be held on Friday, November 6, 2026, at 11 a.m., in the SEECEL building, Radoslava Cimermana 88 in Zagreb.

Awarded students should arrive in front of the large ceremonial hall no later than 9.15 a.m., at the southern entrance number 3.

For the awarded works from categories d), e) and f), awards will be received on behalf of the group by three student representatives.

In accordance with the Rector's Award Regulations, the winners are required to prepare posters of their works. The exhibition of posters of the awarded works will be held in the SEECEL building from 6 to 13 November 2026.

Cash prize for works in category a)

The winners of the Rector's Award in category a), which includes individual scientific and artistic work, will receive a cash prize in the amount of EUR 200 per work. In order to be eligible for the cash prize, students should fill out the appropriate form and submit it to the e-mail address amihalic@unizg.hr.
