"Often, in the moments when we were trying to explain our artistic instincts, we would say that everything we create is part of the process and that, as long as it lasts, we will continue with it. In this process, there are phases that flow from one to another, gradually, non-violently, so that each subsequent one does not exclude the existence of the previous one. Every experience once gained cannot be lost. Stored in our memory, it will affect our future actions, whether it is artistic creation or life itself."

Natural trajectories. We naturally turn towards or away.
A double movement that goes from one to one and creates a periodic universe.
Duets that fold and unfold. And the fragility of those two-voices.
Currently in unison.
And re-tuning.
Natural trajectories are movements that we do not think about, that take place naturally and according to which we also harmonize. These do not even have to be physical changes visible to the eye, they can be slight vibrations, invisible to the eye, which we can only hear if we listen carefully. Because it is natural, both for plants and for ourselves, to move, to breathe, to turn.
Plants make shifts, but, at the bottom, they are always fixed. And in their inability to move, they have to tune each other all the time, turning some of their part towards something (e.g. the Sun) or away from something (e.g. another plant that makes shade for it).
And if a plant moves because another plant has made a shadow for it, it means that there is a real possibility that with its movement that plant will create a shadow for another plant. And so indefinitely, plants, and we, are always tuning in, so when we sound together with something, when these unison tones happen that sometimes do not last longer than a few moments, then we can say that our natural trajectories have merged, then diphthongs are formed. In the future, these diphthongs will probably diverge again at some point, with the possibility that opens up the same moment they diverge – the possibility that they will meet again somewhere, in that periodic universe.

I believe that allowing ourselves to be touched by different experiences is a natural trajectory in our own progress. Progress in this context, conditionally speaking. Progress as a natural way of growing up, maturing and forming us as ourselves.
We are also changing.
But we still seem to work guided by the same impulses, despite the fact that in the moments when we exchange works and realize that we are still "us", we do not know exactly what common drives, inner urges and inspirations stimulate us, or which concept we follow. What we know that unites us is the need to show and express the tenderness and sensibility that we possess as people and as beings who feel and who live that feeling. Perhaps we are just using different metaphors to ultimately express and gather in the same.
I express a feeling.
By this I do not mean love, happiness, hatred or any other, but the absolute feeling that I associate with sensitivity in itself. And while I am creating, it materializes in my work, and then the same matter returns to me what was sent to me with the same sensibility.
And some works are just a manifestation of emotion, but the current work itself creates a secondary feeling that then merges and coexists with the primary one in a cyclical symbiosis. In this way, they nurture, maintain and complement each other as we grow together in a natural trajectory. In doing so, universal, floral motifs, forms and forms are created because it is in them that I visualize this feeling.
I believe that there is some mutual connection between the state of consciousness and creation as such, and if I summarize it in the idea that I create what I am (in general and at the moment) then concepts such as: tenderness, sensibility, serenity, peace, thread, line, thinness, fragility, transparency, dematerialization, reflection, shadow, minimalism, simplicity and naturalness are not only epithets and associations that describe my work, but become epithets that describe me as well, at the moment.

Marija Plečko

She was born in 1992 in Zabok, where she graduated from the School of Applied Arts, Design, Graphics and Clothing in 2010, and in the same year she enrolled in the university study of Fine Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb. She graduated from the Teaching Department of the Academy of Fine Arts in 2016.

Petra Orbanić

She was born in 1991 in Pula, where she graduated from the School of Applied Arts and Design. She enrolled in the University Study of Fine Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb in 2010. She spent the summer semester 2013/2014 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Helsinki as part of the Erasmus program. She graduated from the Teaching Department of the Academy of Fine Arts in 2016.

Together they exhibit and organize, participate and collaborate in numerous art workshops
and projects. They are the winners of several Rector's awards and the Dean's Commendation for
successful work, 2nd HPB award at the Youth Salon 2016 and praise from the Academy of Fine Arts
The Latin Classification with High Praise (Magna Cum Laude).
