Invitation to students to mark the 2nd anniversary of the Counseling Center and the International Day of Mental Health
The Student Counseling Center of the University of Zagreb invites students to mark its second anniversary and the International Mental Health Day.
The event will be held on Monday, October 12, 2026, from 12:00 to 14:00, at the Student Counseling Center of the University of Zagreb, Rector's Office Building, Radoslava Cimermana 88, Hall A1.
As part of the program, a lecture and discussion will be held:
"Are we still their children? Growing up, parents and mental health"
The lecture will open up space for talking about growing up, changes in relationships with parents during study, family expectations, closeness, disagreements and setting boundaries.
By marking the International Day of Mental Health, we want to further emphasize the importance of taking care of the mental health of students and contribute to reducing the stigma associated with seeking psychological help.
After the lecture, a tour of the Counseling Center and informal socializing are planned, during which students will be able to get to know the space, ask questions and learn more about the work of the Counseling Center.
Registration for the lecture is mandatory.
