FROM THE PREFACE OF THE EXHIBITION

The traditional exhibition of students of the Academy of Fine Arts of the University of Zagreb as part of the "Passion Heritage" event is an attempt to interpret the last days of the life of Jesus Christ, questions that have been associated with his sacrifice and resurrection for two generations as good news, especially for the oppressed. Students present works that speak of the lead-gray moment of death, St. Peter and the Rooster. Peter and the Rooster, a heart that beats for another, the questions of the suffering and fate of man, and especially of the righteous who was unjustly condemned and punished, are opened. It seems as if they are also describing the present fate of millions of people.
