Screening of the film "And So On"

On Thursday, January 22, 2026, at 6:15 p.m., in the large lecture hall at Ilica 85, a screening of the film "And So Another" directed by Karla Jelić was held.

The hall was nicely filled – the student audience prevailed, with the discreet presence of the teaching staff. In other words, both those who are still learning and those who (allegedly) already know everything gathered.

The film tells the story of Vida Skerk, a student who was supposed to be the future of Croatian film, but after experiencing sexual harassment by a professor at the Academy of Dramatic Art, she decides to continue her studies in London. Through the personal and intimate perspective of the protagonist, the film speaks about the wider social problem of sexual violence and the way society and institutions treat victims – often more silently than they speak.

The screening was followed by a conversation with members of the creative team: director Karla Jelić, editor Nina Karaman, director of photography Dora Čaldarović and producer Natalie Dech. The conversation was moderated by a student of the teaching department, Eva Pivelić, leading it calmly, focused and with questions that opened up space for open conversation.

The screening once again confirmed the importance of film art as a medium for opening socially relevant topics and encouraging dialogue – one that does not end with the credits, but only then actually begins.
